2.5 S Select
The 2.5 in the 2.5 S Select stands for its 2.5-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine. This powerplant delivers 187 horsepower, 2,000 pounds of towing muscle, and an EPA-certified 28 mpg combined. All-wheel drive comes standard, so you’re set for any season.

2.5 S Premium
The 2.5 S Premium trim introduces two standouts: a glass roof and a banging Bose 12-speaker surround sound system.
2.5 S Premium Plus
Stepping to the 2.5 Premium Plus gets you real leather, ventilated front seats with power adjustability, a head-up display, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, and auto-folding mirrors.
2.5 Turbo Meridian Edition
Need your CX-50 with more bite? The 2.5-liter turbo engine in the 2.5 Turbo Meridian Edition provides 256 horsepower, ups the towing limit to 3,500 pounds, and still pulls off 29 mpg on the highway. The model also features trim-specific features, such as black wheels, all-terrain tires, hood graphics, and side rocker garnish.
While it shows up with trail-ready looks, the interior says something else entirely. You’ll love the heated and ventilated Terracotta leather seats, heated steering wheel, heated rear seats, and Bose stereo. Just a heads-up: your exterior color options here are limited to Polymetal Gray Metallic or Zircon Sand Metallic.
2.5 Turbo Premium
Think of the 2.5 Premium as the 2.5 S Premium Plus with a more powerful engine, heated steering wheel, Terracotta leather seats, mirror position memory, LED combination taillights, and built-in navigation.
2.5 Turbo Premium Plus
The range-topping 2.5 Turbo Premium Plus upgrades the 2.5 Turbo Premium with a 360-degree view camera, Front Cross-Traffic Alert, parking sensors, an enhanced Smart Brake Support, and an auto-dimming mirror on the driver’s side.
