The 2024 Mazda CX-30 is a small SUV with striking looks and great performance. It is available in eight trims, all well-equipped with lots of standard features.
2.5 S
The base 2.5 S comes with a 2.5L four-cylinder engine that makes 191 horsepower and 186 lb-ft of torque. It is mated with a six-speed automatic transmission and all-wheel drive. Fuel economy is 29 mpg combined (26 city/33 highway). The base model features 16-inch wheels, LED headlights, a backup camera, and remote keyless entry.
Up front, an 8.8-inch full-color display allows smartphone integration through Apple CarPlay or Android Auto. Two USB-C charging ports are provided, and there’s a 6-speaker audio system. Standard safety features include collision mitigation braking, adaptive cruise control, lane departure warning, and blind spot monitoring.
2.5 S Select Sport
The 2.5 S Select Sport comes with 18-inch wheels, roof rails, and heated side mirrors. It has a leather interior, with leatherette seats and a leather-wrapped steering wheel. Dual-zone automatic climate control is standard.
2.5 S Preferred
Moving up, the 2.5 S Preferred trim optimizes comfort with heated front seats and an 8-way power driver’s seat with lumbar support and memory settings. There’s a power moonroof that slides open to let in light and fresh air.
2.5 S Carbon Edition
The 2.5 S Carbon Edition has exclusive styling inside and out with Polymetal Gray Metallic paint and red leather-trimmed seats. It also gets an upgraded sound system with eight speakers. The center display is now enabled for wireless smartphone integration through Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
2.5 S Premium
Upgrading to the 2.5 S Premium gets you signature LED headlights, a power liftgate, and a traffic sign recognition system. Standard paddle shifters give you the thrill of controlling gears, just like with a stick shift. You also get leather seats, a head-up display, and a 12-speaker Bose sound system.
2.5 Carbon Turbo
The 2.5 Carbon Turbo is equipped with a turbocharged 2.5L four-cylinder engine that makes 227 horsepower and 310 lb-ft of torque. It comes standard with all-wheel drive and a six-speed auto. Inside, you have leather seats and a larger 10.25-inch touchscreen display.
2.5 Turbo Premium
The 2.5 Turbo Premium carries over the turbo-four engine from the 2.5 Carbon Turbo. It also comes with the 10.25-inch display and adds an auto-dimming rearview mirror and a heated steering wheel.
2.5 Turbo Premium Plus
Topping the lineup is the 2.5 Turbo Premium Plus. It has all the premium amenities in the 2.5 Turbo Premium and adds a 360-degree view monitor. It also adds front and rear parking sensors, smart brake support, and traffic support to the standard safety features.
